We have a timeshare at the Ocean Landings Resort, on the beach and have enjoyed our stay here every time we've been here. For the last two years, friends of ours from Punta Gorda have used our week, but this year we decided to return. The trip over was uneventful, just a quick stop for gas and then at Bob Evans for a late breakfast. Ocean Landings is located directly on Cocoa Beach - although all buildings/rooms are not necessarily "oceanfront". In addition to several ammenites and activities, there is a great Steak and Seafood restaurant (Gregory's) on site. Upstairs over the restaurant is Goucho's - where each Thursday evening they host a comedy show.
The skies were looking a little threatening - and rain was in the forecast, but we unpacked and settled in to our room. Actually it's two room/two full baths. There is a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave, In the picture above is the combination dining area and family room. There are two queen beds in the bedroom and two full baths. Very convenient and very comfortable.
We are on the second floor - and our room is not ocean front. We are in the A building which is just behind the two buildings in the picture above. These two buildings face the ocean. But the ocean is just a short walk - between the two buildings.
Since there is no cooking in the rooms, except for the microwave, this pavilion has a full kitchen with two stoves and a large refrigerator, should you want to cook breakfast or dinner. Outside, and under cover are several picnic tables and gas grills for barbequing.
Tonight there would be no cooking. We decided to just walk across the road to Denny's for dinner. They actually have some pretty good specials for $4, $6 or $8. I took the $6 special which was a pulled chicken barbeque . Rich went for the $8 Spicy Texas Ground Steak which was topped with onions, peppers and PepperJack cheese and fried onions, along with green beans and fries.
We made it back to the room before the rain.
Cocoa Beach is best Beach in Florida..
