We both retired in May of 2006. For the first 6 years we were avid RV'ers and addicted to the game of Pickleball. In September of 2013 we sold the RV and bought a house on the canal to Lake June in Lake Placid, FL where we continue to meet new people and make new friends. Fishing is our favorite past-time now. THANK YOU to our families and friends, old and new, for making our retirement the best chapter in our life so far.

Friday Afternoon Clinic
Rich was asked if he would do another of his pickleball clinics this week. There were only a few people today, but it was the only day before a couple of them were leaving. I still can't play, but the hand was OK using the camera! John(top right) and Susan(bottom right) are both tennis players and are hoping to generate some interest in pickleball when they get back to Waynesburg, PA. And to some of you there is another familiar face in the crowd! Yes..........that's Silly Willy, Bob the Clown to most of us. Little windy - but overall a really nice day!

Hi Donna, Congratulations to your 37th wedding! I am still enjoying to read your postings and your beautiful photos, your yummy meals and $10 for 3 t shirts sounds great. I am trying to find a good price for t-shirts for Pickleball Canada with their logo as incentive to get more new members, so far one t-shirt costs $11 plus postage is too expensive.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have become Provincial Ambassadors for Pickleball Canada and also USAPA Regional Ambassadors for Canada West, so we have been very busy, but well worth the effort. Since you are also a Regional Ambassador, I have much to learn from you.
We are going to teach 120 students in Surrey School Board, teach 6 ARC staff, organise a tournament and attend a few this year.
Shirley
