TT - Clermont

On Saturday we left TT Peace River and headed for TT Clermont. The forecast was for rain, so we packed up most everything Friday night, so we could get an early start in the morning. We pulled out of the park about 9:15, and just made it out of the site. It was real close quarters back there on H - It should be a lot of fun trying to get back in!!! We stopped along SR=60 and an IHOP restaurant for breakfast and then arrived in Clermont just after noon. It took us about an hour and a half to set up and by that time the rain arrived.

The park is quite full, but we found a site out in the D Section. Our favorite site is D157, but that was taken so we took the one next to it - at D159. The site is a little small but hey - we're only here for two weeks.

It rained all day Saturday. Sunday morning was COLD and windy and we headed down to the pickleball courts - but only Nathan was there. We batted the ball around for a half hour or so. Nobody else showed up - so we headed out. That afternoon Rich went back up about 3:00 and Charlotte and Bob the Clown was there - but again the cold and wind kept everyone indoors.

On Monday morning I headed for the clubhouse where at 8:30 they were doing the 3 mile Walk Fit. Great class - and here is the group after we finished. From 9:30 to 11:30 was line dancing and a good group of probably 25 or so showed up. That afternoon we both headed for the pickleball courts where about 10 of us played for a couple of hours.

On Tuesday we were schedule to do a pickleball beginner demo/clinic at Lake Magic. But the rain was back - and it rained ALL DAY LONG. Not able to do pickleball - it was back to the clubhouse for more line dancing. We re-scheduled the pickleball demo for Thursday.
