Rich and the Pickleball Coach

It was a quiet 4th of July. But the calendar is already filling up for this week.

I headed out to Churchill Rec Center and played pickleball for a couple of hours this morning. IT WAS HOT. Fortunately - no sun, but the humidity is so high. Rich took off for La Hacienda to play with the guys this afternnon and got back in time to shower and grab a quick bite to eat before heading back to Churchill Street. Every Monday from 5:00 to 7;00 PM , Coach Mo does an intermediate/advanced clinic. While we're here in The Villages, Rich generally goes to help him out.

About 5:30 I took a ride down on my bike to get some pictures. If I had signed up in time, I would have been taking lessons instead of pictures - but then who would update this blog?

Posted by PicasaThis is Ken. To those of you who freqent http://www.pickleballcoach.com/
this smiling face belongs to admin@pickleballcoach.com , the creator of and administrator of that website. So talented, so creative, what a great job he does. And for those of you looking to buy paddles, he has a new website http://www.pickleballpaddlesplus.com/. This is one of the few sites that sells the Predator Paddle, and what is really nice is that you actually see what color paddles are available. They also have balls, t-shirts, hats, mugs etc.
Ken has been such a great help to me - taking time to help me with questions about my blog or logo or whatever else I needed.
Posted by Picasa Actually - Here is a hat and t-shirt that Rich brought home with him. But he only gets the hat~ the t-shirt is MINE!
