This morning started like most any other morning - at the pickleball courts. Not a lot of players in the park now, so about 10 of us rotated on and off the courts until late morning.
We had to make a trip to Sebring this afternoon. Rich had an appointment with the Podiatrist. His right foot has continued to worsen this winter, and the pain was getting pretty bad. Not wanting to miss any of the tournaments he put off having it looked at again, until the tournament season ended. Previous visits to the foot doctor have not resolved his problem, but rather it has continued to worsen, to the point where he actually asked the doctor to remove his small toe. But Rich was quite impressed with Dr. Feldman - who after reviewing the xrays, numbed a few of the toes and removed some of the badly calloused skin beween the toes, then scheduled him for surgery later in the month. He promised Rich that after 6-8 weeks, he would be as good as new and ready to play in the singles competition if he desired.
While wating for Rich at the doctors office, Sally called to see if we wanted to meet them, along with Joe and Cis and Ken and Fay at Rich's favorite restaurant in Sebring - Homers. Unfortunately we had to decline!!

Everything was Excellent - including the company and laughter!!!
