Thanks Marie

We have met so many new people this year as they pass through TT Peace River and the pickleball courts. Good Friends Chef R and Tiny Stiches ( better known as Keith and Marie) were here early in the winter, but then headed out west. There were a few of our friends that we had spent time with here in Peace River a few years ago that we really really missed seeing this year............but I can always count on my good friend Marie to take care of things for me. If any of our friends have a Blog we follow them wherever they go. Besides following the Blog, Marie and I e-mail each other quite frequently. It seems that whenever I say I miss someone .............she finds them, takes a picture and sends it back to me. While it's not the same as having them here.............Marie - Rich and I thank you so much for making us feel closer to some of our favorite people!!!!

I think we all talked about Keith Bisel earlier in the year. And they probably remembered how much Rich admired this man and what he has done for pickleball in the TT Parks. Wouldn't you know that they would remember us? Here is Keith and Marie with pickleball legend Keith Bisel(center).

One of the very best winters we ever had was two years ago here in Peace River . That was before we started our Blog. Above are Bob and Julie - who we have not seen since than. We heard through the grapevine that they would be here in Florida over the holidays next year.....Can't wait to see them.

A winter in Peace River is NEVER the same without Barb and Dennis Johnson. We follow Johnson's Bus Stop and watched them travel through Alaska this summer, hoping they would make their way back south for the winter. Heath issues kept them out west. We really, really miss them.

Here is Oland and Merilee. We actually met them in TT Hershey, and then back in Florida the following year. We had so much fun with them playing "corn toss" until the racoons ate the bags with the corn!!!! That was in Orlando two years ago.

Posted by PicasaAnd, can you believe that they just recently met up with the Happy Hour Queen (Diane) and Jack in Texas? We had soooooooooooo much fun with Jack and Diane earlier this winter. Pickleball and happy hour, pickleball and happy hour, pickleball and happy hour........ So good to see that smiling face again.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of these people decided to spend the winter in Florida next year????
