Saying our Goodby's at Homers!

The number of pickleball players on the courts here in TT Peace River decrease each day. The group this morning was just Rich and I, Bruce and Gena, Ken and Faye, and Tom............ Nathan, Krystal, Austin and Arik left the park today. Such a wonderful family - we will miss them..... and hope they head back this way next winter. Rich and Dee leave tomorrow - so we decided on Homers for a good by dinner - since they had never been there.

Top: Linda and Kevin Knight - ( Linda!!!! you are supposed to LOOK at the camera!!!). We met them just this year - both play a little pickleball and Kevin is pretty good at the pool table. They were parked next to us for several weeks this winter.
Since we were heading for Sebring for dinner we called on Bob and Kathy Hughes who have just a few weeks left at Tanglewood before heading back to North Carolina. That's Bob in the top picture.
Bottom picture: Kathy Hughes, Dee and Rich (who we learned at dinner tonight was the Italian Florida Trooper who frequently embarrased his fellow troopers with a Kiss on the Cheek!!) Never mind....... it's a long story. And that's Rich almost hidden by Kevins cap!!! Where am I... Well someone needs to take the picture.
As can be expected at Homers the food was great! It was the first time for Rich and Dee and for Kevin and Linda and both of them gave the establishment a thumb's up! Glad they enjoyed the evening.
After dinner we took Rich and Dee on a tour of the Tanglewood Community - the Outback RV Park, the pickleball and tennis courts and the clubhouse before heading back to Peace River.
Yesterday everyone at the park was advised that the NEW Rule in the park was: No Outside Lights after 11:00 PM. We had a good laugh over this earlier today with Kevin and Linda - since they keep decorative lights on each evening. Before they returned from dinner tonight - Rich and I left a note on their door.
New Park Rule - No lights after 8:00 PM
Unfortunately - as we were pulling the prank and taping the note to their door...........they pulled into the sight!!! I tried to hide the tape behind my back and make some lame excuse for being at the rig!!!! They could read the guilt all over my face....................It was still fun.............funny !!!
